Developer Settings

The Developer tab can be found under “Settings” from the left column menu.

Here you can find API keys and add external scripts you or your developer may need.

The Ternary API is organized around REST. Our API has predictable resource-oriented URLs, accepts form-encoded request bodies, returns JSON-encoded responses, and uses standard HTTP response codes.

Authentication

The Ternary API uses API keys to authenticate requests. You can view and manage your API keys via your Admin Dashboard under the developer section in settings.

Your API keys carry many privileges, so be sure to keep them secure! Do not share your secret API keys in publicly accessible areas such as GitHub, client-side code, and so forth.

All API requests must be made over HTTPS. Calls made over plain HTTP will fail. API requests without authentication will also fail.
